Electromechanical Assembler\n \n Shop Floor Assembly | Manufacturing Environment\n Salary: £28,000 to £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Typical working pattern 7:30am to 4:00pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch\n\n The Opportunity\n We are supporting a growing UK-based manufacturer that designs and builds its own engineered products. Due to sustained growth and increasing demand, they are looking to add additional shop floor assembly capability, with the potential to appoint one or two Assemblers depending on experience.\n This is a hands-on, workshop-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in high-quality assembly work and wants to be part of a growing business that is investing in its facilities, products and people.\n\n The Role\n The Electromechanical Assembler will be involved in the assembly of a variety of electrical and electromechanical products, working to detailed works instructions and engineering drawings. This requires care, diligence and engineering awareness to ensure products are built to the highest standards, reflecting the Company's commitment to quality, safety and consistency.\n\n Duties will include:\n \nElectrical and mechanical assembly of manufactured products and sub-assemblies \nWorking to engineering drawings, works instructions and technical documentation \nMaintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping on the shop floor \nContributing towards the ongoing development of the business Depending on experience:\n \nCarrying out electrical wiring and assembly \nCarrying out quality checks on incoming components against drawings, specifications and tolerances \nUse of CNC machining equipment to carry out assembly tasks as required \nDimensional and quality inspection of component products using a variety of tools \nBatch testing, fault finding and basic electrical testing where appropriate About You\n This role would suit someone with a solid engineering or assembly background who understands production processes and engineering principles, and who has an appreciation of quality workmanship.\n Ideally, you will have:\n \nExperience in electrical or electromechanical assembly \nThe ability to follow works instructions accurately and consistently \nAn understanding of quality control, inspection or acceptance testing \nConfidence using basic measuring equipment and checking components to drawings \nA practical, hands-on mindset with good attention to detail Experience in machining, CNC, engineering production or manufacturing environments would be particularly beneficial, as would any exposure to QA processes, batch testing or fault finding.\n\n What's On Offer\n \nSalary between £28,000 and £34,000 depending on experience and capability \nStable, long-term opportunity within a growing manufacturing business \nVaried role with training across multiple products and processes \nInvestment in facilities and a refreshed working environment \nSupportive team culture with a practical, down-to-earth approach \nLife Assurance and Pension \nParking on site \nGenerous holiday allowance If you're an experienced assembler or engineer who enjoys hands-on work, variety and being part of a growing manufacturing operation, this is a strong opportunity to consider
