About the Company The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless integrations across business systems and automating workflows to improve operational efficiency. This role ensures that platforms such as PSA systems, RMM, CRM and Account packages and HR systems are optimised and interconnected to support business processes and data flow. While primarily internally focused, the role also involves supporting customers directly providing integration expertise, troubleshooting, and automation guidance to enhance client outcomes. Their primary goal is to modernise operations and enhance data accuracy by developing robust integrations and automation solutions that align with business needs. About the Role The Integration Engineer combines technical expertise, business operations and user needs. They are proactive, detail oriented, and collaborative, ensuring that systems work seamlessly and deliver measurable value. Responsibilities • Integration and technical expertise: Skilled in APIs, scripting, and integration platforms, with hands-on experience in PSA systems, RMM, CRM, Account packages and HR systems and similar systems., • AI and automation: Implement AI tools to help pull together and summarise company info faster, improving employee experience and enabling smarter data-led decisions., • Customer Centric: Strong focus on understanding current and future evolutions of systems, considering how integration and automation can be used to addressing customer business and technical needs., • Adaptable: Responds to evolving business requirements and technology changes., • Process-Oriented: Understands business workflows and identifies opportunities for automation and optimisation., • Teamwork and collaboration: Works effectively with IT, Finance and IT departments to ensure solutions meet cross-functional needs., • Organisation and prioritisation: Able to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery by prioritising workload based on business impact and urgency., • Problem-Solver: Proactively identifies, diagnoses integration issues and develops effective solutions quickly., • Detail-Focused: Ensures accuracy and reliability in data flow and automation logic., • Self-Improving: Continuously learns new tools, technologies, and best practices in integration and automation., • Compliance Awareness: Understands and adheres to ISO 27001 standards, ensuring that all integration and automation activities align with information security policies and procedures. Maintains documentation, follows secure development practices, and supports audit readiness. Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in integration engineering, automation development, or related technical roles., • Proven experience with PSA systems, RMM, CRM, Account packages and HR systems, or similar platforms., • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data formats (JSON, XML, SQL, MongoDB, DAX). Required Skills • System Integration: Design and implement integrations between core business platforms (e.g. PSA systems, RMM, CRM, Account packages and HR systems)., • Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure reliability and performance., • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage API connections and data mapping. Preferred Skills • Automation Development: Identify repetitive tasks and develop automation scripts or workflows to reduce manual effort., • Use tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or custom scripts to build scalable automation solutions.
