What you’ll bring with you * Current registration as a Pharmacist with the GPhC - General Pharmaceutical Council * Clinical Diploma or equivalent clinical pharmacist experience * Experience in a management role, carrying out staff appraisal, development and training * Familiarity with electronic stock control systems * Policy, procedure and/or guideline development experience * Experience of safe medication practice * Audit and data analysis experience * Incident report and investigation * Participate in a rotational schedule, which may include working weekends to ensure continuity of clinical services. * Provide support for the Pharmacy on-call rota, assisting with urgent medication-related queries and ensuring timely access to essential medicines outside of standard hours. * Budgetary and Change management experience – desirable * Business case development experience – desirable Why join us? About the Studio… We are working with a highly experienced architectural design leader who runs a boutique international design consultancy operating across architecture, design advisory and strategic project input. Importantly, this is not a short-term or experimental model. We originally introduced architects to the studio over five years ago under this structure, and several of those individuals are still working with the practice today. For the right person, this can therefore become a long-term and stable collaboration. At the same time, the model can also suit individuals who may want a defined period of experience before moving on. Team / division overview The Passive Portfolio Management Team at DWS manages the full range of X-trackers across Equity and Fixed Income Exchange Traded Funds, as well as Segregated mandates, covering a wide range or index providers and array of benchmark types from multiple ESG flavours to Thematics.DWS has a global and integrated investment platform with a strong footprint globally. With presence on the ground in 17 locations, we cover the most important financial markets in the world. Our investment platform employs approximately 900 investment professionals (excluding product specialists), covering both the most important financial markets and regions, and the most important asset classes. You will play a key role as Portfolio Engineer within the team. Role Details: As a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager you will (be): • Carrying out daily management of the index equity portfolios via portfolio construction and trade implementation, • Supporting the management of client flows efficiently, • Managing investment and risk exposures, while determining optimal hedging strategies where applicable, • Determining optimal portfolio strategy to minimize tracking error to index, to ensure trading accuracy across corporate actions and cash flows, • Working on projects geared towards creating efficiency and bringing scale/automation for the overall development of platform, • Working closely with trading desks to determine optimal execution strategies, • Contributing to new and existing product development processes, • Overseeing the Net Asset Value, Portfolio Composition File reconciliations and performance attribution analysis We are looking for: • Strong financial product knowledge across either Equities, Fixed Income or Commodities with exposure to Index, Synthetic, Delta-one or Derivative instruments, • Sound experience from either a Portfolio Management, Trading, Index Research background, with knowledge around portfolio construction, performance & attribution, and related ETF servicing, • Knowledge of index methodologies from key providers including FTSE, S&P, MSCI etc, • Strong quantitative/analytical skills including such as Python, VBA and Excel are highly beneficial, • An understanding of rebalance trading strategies, • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications and capability using Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, Aladdin and optimisation systems like Barra BPM, Bloomberg Portfolio Management, • Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience What we’ll offer you: At DWS we’re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves sand it’s important to us that you enjoy coming to work - feeling healthy, happy and rewarded.
