We are a Level 2 Neonatal Unit, providing care for babies requiring specialist neonatal support. As part of our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, family-centred care to babies and their families, while contributing to the ongoing development of our neonatal services. • To assist in delivering safe and effective care to babies requiring Neonatal Special Care (SC) on the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care (NTC)on the postnatal ward., • Communicating directly with Neonatal nursing and medical teams to plan care for baby in SC/NTC., • Acting autonomously to escalation concerns regarding babies’ condition to the Neonatal nurse in charge, working within agreed local guidelines., • Deliver health promotion and support to families to enable them to appropriately care for their premature or unwell infants., • To instruct, advice and deliver parentcraft classes to parents/carers including bathing, Resuscitation and safe sleep guidance.
