Job DescriptionDescription: If you are an energetic, enthusiastic Charter Sales Representative who is looking to join a growth-focused organization to take your aviation career to the next level, Ventura Air Service is seeking an experienced Charter Sales Representative. Ventura Air Service is a Part-135 family-owned operator based in Nashville, TN. Ventura Air Services is small enough to see you as an individual but large enough to provide stability, growth potential, and internal opportunities for our employees. The Charter Sales Representative will join a core-value focused, highly collaborative, fast-paced work environment. This position has a heavy focus on quoting, selling, booking, scheduling, and coordinating trips which support our wholesale and retail client base to effectively optimize our fleet of private jet aircraft in the charter market. The Charter Sales Representative will join a highly dynamic team environment that requires complex problem-solving skills. Ventura Air Service is a 24/7 organization, this role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and Holidays. This will be a hybrid position located in Nashville, TN. Qualified individuals will complete onsite training in our Office in Nashville, TN. Once training is complete the employee will be able to transition to a hybrid schedule that consists of a schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote weekly. Relocation assistance can be considered on a case by case basis. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: • Provide accurate price quoting to brokers and direct customers in a timely manner, • Field high number of calls and emails and produce quotes in an expedited fashion, • Maintain an accurate customer and broker preference database, • Foster & nurture relationships with customers & industry personnel to promote goodwill & generate new business, • Microsoft Teams, • Zoom, • Excel, • Google Family: (Forms, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail), • Asana, • FOS, • Jet Rebellion, • Nexgen, • Jetinsight, • Foreflight, • Skyvector, • AvianisRequirements:, • Experience utilizing Jetinsight aviation software preferred, but not required, • Ability to quickly learn software products and industry terminology., • Experience working for Part 135 Charter Operator preferred, • Strong communication skills and outgoing personality, • Adapt as scheduled for after-hours on-call rotation with other personnel to include weekends & holidays, • Demonstrate customer service skills with the ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment, • Solution-based attitude and ability to problem-solve, • Ability to work as a team member while meeting individual performance goals, • Professional appearance, excellent verbal & written communication skills, • Ability to think quickly, pivot and adapt priorities as necessary, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language, • Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/ or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time., • Job requires employees to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area., • Repetitive motion, substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/ or fingers., • Typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers., • Must be able to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks., • Ability to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond, analyze information and write reports, and comprehend complex issues and communicate effectively to diverse groups., • Job requires employees to perform basic arithmetic accurately and compute rates and percentages., • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally (verbally and in writing) as appropriate for the needs of the audience., • Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is required.
