Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Manager – Import (Ocean & Air) to lead and oversee all U.S. import operations within our freight forwarding and NVOCC division. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end ocean and air import processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing operational performance, and driving service excellence. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of international logistics, strong leadership capabilities, advanced proficiency in CargoWise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Bilingual English/Chinese communication skills are required to support global partners and domestic clients. This position plays a critical role in operational control, compliance management, customer retention, and long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Import Operations Management (Ocean & Air) Oversee full-cycle import operations including FCL, LCL, air freight (direct and consolidated), and special cargo. Manage complete documentation flow including HBL, MBL, AMS filings, ISF (10+2), arrival notices, delivery orders, and customs coordination. Ensure strict compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, TSA requirements, bonded cargo procedures, and international trade laws. Monitor shipment milestones from origin departure through final delivery. Coordinate closely with customs brokers, carriers, co-loaders, truckers, CFS stations, and warehouses. Proactively resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, customs holds, and carrier issues. Maintain strong service performance and ensure client KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. Oversee demurrage and detention control strategies to minimize additional costs. 2. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all import filings (AMS, ISF) are submitted timely and accurately. Maintain compliance with CBP regulations, bonded warehouse requirements, and TSA security standards. Implement internal audit controls to reduce operational and regulatory risk. Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting import operations. Manage claim handling procedures for damaged or lost cargo. 3. Leadership & Team Management Lead, supervise, and mentor the import operations team. Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs. Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions. Develop structured training programs for documentation accuracy and system usage. Manage workload distribution to ensure timely processing and delivery. Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven team culture. 4. Process Optimization & SOP Development Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify operational bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements. Standardize documentation processes to minimize errors and rework. Strengthen communication workflows between Operations, Sales, and Accounting departments. Improve visibility of shipment tracking and reporting systems. 5. System & Data Management (CargoWise Focus) Utilize CargoWise for shipment processing, milestone tracking, billing coordination, and operational reporting. Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipment data within the system. Monitor system usage and enforce data integrity standards. Generate operational KPI reports including: On-time delivery rate Customs clearance performance Demurrage/detention metrics Shipment volume analysis Collaborate with management to implement system enhancements for improved automation and reporting. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales to support client onboarding and pricing strategy. Coordinate with Accounting for billing accuracy, accruals, and vendor payment verification. Support customer service initiatives to strengthen client retention and growth. Maintain strong working relationships with overseas agents and carrier representatives. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding / NVOCC import operations (Ocean & Air). Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong working knowledge of: U.S. Customs regulations (CBP) AMS / ISF filing requirements TSA cargo security compliance Bonded cargo procedures Advanced proficiency in CargoWise (required) Experience managing full documentation cycle from origin to final delivery. Job Description We are hiring several experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistants Long Island, NY! This Cardiothoracic Surgery Program is ideal for Advanced Practice Providers as the providers practice at the highest level of their licensure in the Operating Room! Very large Cardiothoracic program with over 1,500 heart surgeries performed annually consisting of 8 surgeons, over 35 APPs to cover the OR, ICU and floor. The big push is for OR trained candidate to do about 70% OR duties, but the role is full continuum of care, OR, ICU and Floor. The provider would first assist in the OR, harvest conduit, vein and artery via endoscopic or open. Cases include all open heart from CABGs to valves, plus heart and lung transplant. We are the tertiary center for all cases requiring MCS support, so we also do LVADs and a lot of ECMO as well. In the ICU: Our ACPS care for all of the patients mentioned above, they do all invasive lines, chest tubes, IABPs, help with cannulation of ECMO, and much of the management is driven by them. Some weeks the provider will be doing 100% OR and the schedule for the OR would be 4 10 hour shifts and when on ICU schedule the shift schedule would be 3 12s per week! psychiatric conditions and to maintain body alignment, as appropriate. * Follows all protocols required to obtain proper approvals and consent(s) for all interventions, as applicable to plans and required by OPWDD, prior to implementation. * Establishes baseline for each individual prior to implementation of habilitative and behavior support plan(s) and designs effective data collection systems that allow progress to be monitored. * Directs and/or oversees day-to-day data collection by program staff, ensuring that data are consistently obtained, totaled and summarized on a monthly basis by the designated/trained staff (e.g. Assistant BIS) and that new data sheets are accessible at the beginning of each month. * Ensures that timely modifications are made to the plan(s), as dictated by individual need based upon regular monitoring and assessment of response to services. * Oversees, maintains and/or ensures appropriate and accurate completion of all required paperwork, communications and documentation for persons supported in accordance with prescribed guidelines and timelines including monthlies, Staff Action Plan, Life Plan meetings, psychiatric and therapy anecdotals, Person-Centered Plans, meeting minutes, billing, etc. * Regularly trains all direct care staff and management at assigned programs on individual service, staff action plans and behavior management services using the Explain Model Observe Evaluate (EMOE) training system to ensure that all clinical interventions are properly implemented, to communicate clinical rationales and treatment team, providing data, updates and/or recommendations regarding progress, developments and other significant items regarding individuals in interdisciplinary meetings and case reviews, including scheduled Person-Centered meetings and interfaces with circles of support including family members and support providers; attends and actively participates in monthly BIS meetings, as required for
