Job Description Licensed Veterinary Technician Job description/Overview Veterinary Surgical Center of Long Island (“VSCLI”) is seeking a current New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Team. We are seeking an LVT to work full-time and part-time shifts at our hospital. VSCLI is a privately owned Specialty Referral Practice and a 24-Hour Emergency Care Hospital in Huntington, NY. Our brand-new 10,000 square hospital opened its doors in May 2024. Our state-of-the-art hospital is equipped with a CT, MRI, 2 digital x-ray suites, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and Snyder oxygen cage. VSCLI’s specialty services are focused on Surgery and Emergency Medicine. This would include prepping an animal for surgery, intubation, monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures, assisting the surgeons in the OR, maintaining and sterilization of instruments and surgical equipment and keeping surgical areas clean.
