The Production Technician I is responsible for the aseptic manufacturing of Cresilon’s products for the animal health industry. The Production Technician II will be trained in clean room operations, aseptic techniques, and must demonstrate the ability to successfully pass gowning qualifications. Job Description The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for routine inspection and testing of raw materials and components as well as of final product for Cresilon’s products in the Animal and Human Health industries. This position requires a strong attention to detail as the individual will be responsible for identifying deviations in product quality or safety and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Summary: The ARC (Animal Recovery Center) and CARE (Canine Annex for Recovery and Enrichment) facilities are dedicated to the recovery and rehabilitation of victims of cruelty and neglect admitted through NYPD and the ASPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement (HLE) and Community Engagement (CE) programs. Our dedicated team of more than 45 sheltering, medical, and animal behavior professionals work closely with the ASPCA Animal Hospital, Forensics, Legal Advocacy and Investigations, Behavioral Sciences, Shelter Medicine Services, Community Engagement, Placement, and the Adoption Center teams to ensure coordinated response and operations, and holistic, balanced, high quality care for the animals we serve. The Licensed Veterinary Technician at the ASPCA Canine Annex for Recovery and Enrichment (CARE) is responsible for a broad range of medical and administrative tasks in the CARE that serves animals admitted through the NYPD Partnership program. The LVT delivers compassionate nursing care and has a broad knowledge of animal science, medicine, and husbandry, including a basic knowledge of pharmacology, shelter medicine, behavior, and proficient mathematical skills. One of the most critical functions of this role is serving as a member of a team of medical, behavior and sheltering operations personnel, all dedicated to working together to provide holistic care for victims of cruelty and neglect. Job Description The Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Service is critical to the lifesaving work we do at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, providing timely diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning of diseases in companion animals. As a Diagnostic Imaging technician, you'll operate our computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to obtain quality images for our radiologists and other board-certified specialists across the hospital. Diagnostic Imaging technicians work together as a team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. While one technician is scanning and capturing images, another technician functions as a primary anesthetist and monitors the patient. Our technicians are excellent communicators and collaborators who work with multiple departments at AMC and coordinate multiple imaging procedures each day. Job Description The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is offering a position as an Internal Medicine Senior Veterinarian. Requirements for this position are ACVIM board certification in Internal Medicine and eligibility for a New York State license. As an internist at AMC, you will have the chance to train residents and interns and be challenged daily in a unique opportunity that blends clinical practice and academics and allows for cross pollination of ideas between clinicians and residents. AMC comprises almost every specialty and subspecialty of small animal medicine and surgery, with an emphasis on collaborative medicine, offering a chance to expand your personal clinical skillset. The hospital provides an environment where learning new procedures is possible and encouraged. The Internal Medicine Department is fully staffed with state-of-the-art equipment for endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, ultrasonography, laparoscopy, and interventional radiology. You will be part of our internal medicine team of 7 boarded specialists and dedicated hospitalists. Internal medicine works closely with the Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy Service, staffed with 2 boarded specialists. In addition, the Internal Medicine Department has a dedicated Hemodialysis and Extracorporeal Therapy Service. State-of-the-art CT and MRI are also available, overseen by our Diagnostic Imaging Department with 4 radiologists. Our assistant and licensed veterinary technician team is highly familiar with all internal medicine and interventional procedures. Additionally, our staff practice a high level of anesthetic competency overseen by our Anesthesia Department to assist with complex and high-risk cases. As a Senior Veterinarian, your job will be a hybrid between outpatient clinical medicine, inpatient care, and procedures. You will also participate in oversight of residents, teaching of interns, and contribute to and participate in academic teaching rounds. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, we have an expanded capacity and dedication to providing critical care to the patients that we service. A close relationship with the Emergency and Critical Care Department allows for joint oversight and awareness of ICU patients. This allows for early recognition and intervention of decompensating patients when we cannot be available. AMC is committed to serving our NYC community and offers multiple funding options for clientele in financial need, providing an opportunity to treat complicated cases that might otherwise be unable to access care elsewhere. As a non-profit organization, external funding may become available through donations for both academic and clinical needs, not generally accessible to other institutions.
