Role Overview The Director of Studio Performance & Growth is the senior business leader responsible for driving studio revenue, retention, client experience, team performance, and overall studio success at Physique 57. This role oversees the Studio Director and Concierge leadership team while partnering closely with instructors, marketing, and senior leadership to ensure the studio consistently delivers exceptional hospitality, strong sales performance, and a best in class client experience. The ideal candidate is deeply sales oriented. They are a natural leader who thrives on building relationships, coaching teams, driving accountability, and growing a loyal client community. They understand that boutique fitness is both hospitality and sales, and they lead with energy, urgency, warmth, and professionalism. This is not a passive management role. We are seeking a hands on leader who actively drives business performance, improves retention, increases membership conversion, maximizes class attendance, and inspires team excellence every day Reports to: CEO Direct Report: Studio Director Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Growth • Own and drive all studio sales goals including memberships, class packages, retail, private training, workshops, and events., • Lead studio conversion strategy from first visit through long term membership retention., • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs including membership sales, trial conversion, class utilization, client retention, retail sales, reactivation, lead response time, and cancellation trends., • Develop and execute local sales initiatives to increase studio revenue and community engagement., • Drive proactive outreach to leads, inactive clients, former members, and high value clients., • Ensure the front desk team is confidently and consistently selling memberships, packages, retail, and upgrades., • Create a strong culture of accountability around sales goals and client follow up., • Identify business opportunities, attendance trends, and schedule optimization opportunities. Client Journey & Conversion Strategy • Own and continuously improve the studio sales pipeline from inquiry through membership conversion, onboarding, retention, and reactivation, • Develop, track, and optimize client follow up systems, automations, lead response processes, and conversion strategies to improve sales and retention performance, • Identify friction points in the client journey and proactively test creative strategies that increase trial conversion, client engagement, membership upgrades, and long term loyalty Leadership & Team Management • Directly oversee the Studio Director and ensure strong execution across all studio operations., • Coach and develop front desk leadership and studio teams to deliver exceptional hospitality and sales performance., • Build a high performance culture rooted in accountability, positivity, urgency, and professionalism., • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching conversations, and ongoing team development., • Ensure all team members uphold Physique 57 experience and hospitality standards and brand expectations. Client Experience & Retention • Champion an exceptional client experience from the moment a client walks through the door., • Build relationships with key clients and foster a strong sense of community and belonging., • Ensure client concerns are resolved quickly, thoughtfully, and professionally., • Develop retention initiatives that increase visit frequency, loyalty, referrals, and long term engagement., • Partner with instructors and front desk staff to identify at risk clients and proactively reconnect them to the studio., • Ensure the studio environment consistently reflects the premium Physique 57 brand experience. Operations & Performance Management • Analyze business performance regularly and make strategic recommendations to improve revenue and retention., • Guide staffing and resource planning decisions based on studio performance trends, attendance patterns, and operational needs, in collaboration with the Studio Director., • Partner with marketing on local partnerships, community outreach, activations, and promotional initiatives., • Support special events, partnerships, launches, and studio initiatives., • Maintain strong visibility and leadership presence within the studio. Qualifications • 7+ years of leadership experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, wellness, retail, beauty, luxury service, or another high touch client facing environment., • Proven success driving sales, retention, and team performance., • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable., • Excellent communication, relationship building, and problem solving skills., • Highly organized, detail oriented, and operationally strong., • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret KPIs and performance data., • Passion for fitness, wellness, hospitality, and the Physique 57 brand., • Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a studio environment. Compensation Target base salary: $85,000 annually plus bonus tied to studio revenue growth, membership conversion, retention, utilization, and client reactivation.
