Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Queens, NY Salary + Benefits: $95,000–$100,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Vacation and Sick Leave, CME allowance, 403(b) retirement plan, and MetroCard transportation benefit. Responsibilities of Psychiatric Registered Nurse • Work directly with patients on health maintenance, illness prevention, and case management, • Provide patient education related to physical health, nutrition, activity, and mental wellness, • Collaborate with Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and clinical staff to supportiindividualized treatment plans, • Conduct counseling and therapeutic interactions under provider guidance, • Perform community-based field work as part of a multidisciplinary care team, • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system, • Participate in team meetings, quality performance initiatives, and monthly chart reviews, • Oversee nursing interventions and ensure continuity of nursing care, • Address both physical and mental health concerns in coordination with providers, • Provide crisis intervention and emergency support when necessary Requirements of Psychiatric Registered Nurse: • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required (BSN preferred), • Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred, • Prior community or field-based psychiatric nursing experience a plus, • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
