About MITO AI: MITO AI is a collaborative, AI-native platform reinventing how films, commercials, and music videos are made. We are building the operating system for a $300B+ global video production industry shifting to AI-native workflows. Based between San Francisco and Madrid, MITO combines state-of-the-art AI models for image, video, and audio with professional-grade agentic editing tools in a multiplayer, browser-based canvas. Individuals and teams can bring ideas to life by directing AI agents to create scenes and edit in real time. MITO was founded by Iñaki Berenguer (MIT, PhD Cambridge, 5x founder — Pixable acquired by SingTel, CoverWallet $300M exit, iPronics $50M raised), Danny Saltaren (product designer at 2 unicorns, National Design Award), and Arantxa Barcia (award-winning filmmaker). We are backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, and other investors including Kibo Ventures, K Fund, Sequoia and a16z scouts, LifeX, Everywhere, 5 unicorn founders, and execs from GitHub and Roblox. The Role: This role owns the full sales cycle for MITO's AI-powered production platform (MITO Tools) and studio services (MITO Films) — selling to brands, ad agencies, and production companies who are only beginning to figure out what "AI-native content production" means for them. You will work closely with founders and Solutions Engineers in early-stage deals, run the full cycle from first outbound touch to signed contract, and coordinate tightly with Customer Success and Production — since MITO blends software with hands-on service delivery. This is not a transactional, self-serve sale. This is a high-agency AE who can map a client's production workflow, build a business case where none existed before, and close. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline & Discovery • Build outbound and inbound pipeline targeting brands, ad agencies, and production houses, • Run discovery calls that map a client's content production workflow and pain points, • Lead product demos, often paired with a founder or Solutions Engineer in early-stage settings Full-Cycle Deal Management • Own proposal, negotiation, contract, and close end to end, • Coordinate closely with Customer Success and Production teams to hand off and deliver — critical here, since MITO blends SaaS with service delivery, • Keep pipeline and forecast accurate and current in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) Market & Category Building • Feed market feedback directly to the product team — you'll be one of the closest people to how buyers actually think about this still-forming category, • Help sharpen MITO's positioning and messaging as the market matures About You: • Sales Track Record: You have 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in a consultative motion — not transactional or self-serve. You can back this up with real numbers: quota attainment %, ACV, pipeline managed., • Category Comfort: You're energized, not intimidated, by selling something buyers don't have a category for yet. You've built business cases from scratch before., • Domain Instinct: Experience selling to agencies or brands, or a background in MarTech, AdTech, or creative tools, is a strong plus., • Cross-Functional Fluency: You're comfortable working closely with Customer Success and Production teams, since delivery here isn't pure software., • Remote Collaboration: You're self-directed and comfortable operating remotely while staying tightly connected to a team split between San Francisco and Madrid. Compensation & Perks: Competitive base + uncapped variable, with an accelerator that rewards you well above target. • Competitive, market-benchmarked salary with a strong commission structure and accelerators above quota, • Flexibility to work hybrid out of our San Francisco office or fully remote within the US, • Work directly with the founding team, closing deals in a category you'll help define, • Front-row seat to the fastest-moving frontier in tech, selling a product built by repeat founders and award-winning creatives, • The chance to shape how brands, agencies, and studios buy AI-native production — before anyone else has figured it out
