Position Summary: The BCBA is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing effective, individualized interventions for individuals with autism and behavior challenges. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder. As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. Job DescriptionDescription: GBS is looking for a BCBA in Maplewood, NJ for a school case. This case would be 2 days per week. Position Summary: The BCBA is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing effective, individualized interventions for individuals with autism and behavior challenges. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder. As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. Full-time BCBAs are expected to dedicate their professional practice exclusively to Graham Behavior Services and may not provide ABA therapy through other agencies while employed full time.
