Work with end users to perform gap analysis, gather and document functional requirements, and create necessary processes • Assist with project and time management including estimates and status reporting, • Ability to plan, organize, review, implement associated project milestones to completion., • Process Development, Process Automation, and ETL Solutions, • SQL query creation and validation to include advanced joins, • Perform complex programming functions, assistance, and technical advice including design architecture, configuration, writing, testing, and documentation to complex programming of agency computer systems as assigned. • Create new and update existing Rhapsody routes to handle new data elements and formats creating the necessary output for upload into testing, lab, and surveillance systems as well as report to the CDC • Transformation of multiple formats (xml, csv, SOAP, HL7, etc.) in Rhapsody with Symphonia and Javascript (ECMA/E4X), • Formatting data into Conduent Maven Integration Format (MIF) for import into the Disease Surveillance System, • Utilize webservice calls to and from Rhapsody parsing request/response data, • Monitor routes and production processing to ensure proper data flow and response times using Rhapsody Web Management Console and other tools, • Help to perform and automate daily maintenance processes, • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize new and existing processes., • Resolve processing issues., • Correct and reprocess errors, • Advise on monitoring practices, thresholds, and notifications, • Support Rhapsody upgrades and new environment configuration, • Ensure maximum system uptime for critical components to ensure business continuity., • Assist with data migrations and database migration related code changes, testing, and validation, • Review existing code for rewrite into Rhapsody routes., • Perform / participate in code reviews for authored, team written, and vendor suggested changes and implement reviewed changes into Production, • Advise the team on best practice and techniques. Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Director of Safety and Security is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, coordination, and execution of all security operations for Prudential Center. This role ensures the safety and protection of guests, employees, performers, athletes, and assets during NHL games, concerts, family shows, and special events. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW: • Develop and execute a comprehensive venue-wide security strategy and risk management plan for all event types., • Lead event security planning for professional sporting events and high-profile/ large scale events, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional guest safety, • Oversee threat assessment, intelligence coordination, and emergency preparedness initiatives., • Direct all day-to-day security operations, ensuring highly visible, proactive security presence throughout the venue., • Oversee and managescontract event security vendor., • Implement and oversee access control, credentialing, screening, and perimeter security processes., • Manage incident response, investigations, and consistent reporting in alignment with best practices, • Serve as key leader whitin the incident command or Unified Command role during emergencies., • Coordinate with law enforcement, fire services, EMS, homeland security and NHL partners., • Maintain and update the Emergency Operations Plan and Contingency Action Plan, • Oversee CCTV, access control, screening technology, and command center operations., • Recruit, train, and mentor security staff committed to excellence and service, • Foster and promote a culture of safety , accountability and professionalism to guarantee excellent customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree required., • 5 plus + years of arena/stadium event security experience managing in-house or 3rd party event security contractors, • Proven track record of success and ability to operate effectively during major events., • Strong knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS), crowd management, and risk mitigation strategies., • NJ SORA certification or ability to obtain (within required timeframes) WORKING CONDITIONS: • Work environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils office and requires availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations in a 24/7 environment., • Travel Requirements: May travel up to 5% during the year, • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $90,000 - $105,000/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, including: eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
