Job Description The Working Area Supervisor position directly supervises commercial cleaning operations and cleaning personnel within an assigned area, ensuring that service commitments to customers-quality of service, and timeliness are fully met and that services are provided within the established budget for the assigned accounts. The ideal candidate would possess a drive to lead a team, the ability to meet customer’s needs, and a passion for providing superior customer support and service. A background in the cleaning industry and a valid driver’s license are required. Essential Functions and Basic Duties • Assist with recruiting for any open positions in your accounts., • Report any staffing changes using the Requisition Forms, • Work with the Training Manager to explain the building/task schedule and ServiceMaster cleaning techniques., • Train all new hires to ServiceMaster TBS standards and complete training sign-offs., • Understand task schedules for each assigned account and communicate task changes to upper management., • Perform building inspections per schedule and complete Recap Form and CompanyCam photos., • Complete daily recaps, • Address Quality Inspection issues/requests within the allotted time., • Manage building supplies, • Control inventory at each assigned account to prevent supply shortages without overstocking an account., • Order supplies as necessary via the ordering platform., • Transportation of supplies may be necessary. Paycom (Timekeeping) • Verify that all accounts have been serviced based on their schedule., • Monitor employee punches to limit payroll issues., • Report call-outs to management., • Manage open accounts and hours at each of your assigned accounts., • Area Supervisors may be required to cover open positions if they are unable to find coverage., • Responsible for managing safety concerns at assigned accounts, • Responsible for managing and reporting safety incidents to HR/Safety Manager, • Responsible for OSHA-required annual safety training. Qualifications • Education/Certification: High School diploma, • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred., • Required knowledge: Proficient in Google Suite, Paycom, Company Cam, • Experience Required: 3-5 years of related experience Skills/Abilities: • Ability to operate under pressure and to meet deadlines., • Ability to hold others accountable., • Manage multiple sites., • Self-motivated, energetic, and creative., • Strong organizational skills, cooperation, and willing to assist others., • Strong communication skills for effective customer/vendor relationship management and decision-making.
