Candidates interested in this OT role at CSS are required to have the following: • Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program, • Satisfactory completion of Certification Examination of National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (Maintenance of registration required), • NJ State License and NJ BOE School Certificate, • Minimum of two years of work experience in pediatric private practice and/or school setting, • Candidates should be experienced in treating sensory processing disorders, motor planning difficulties, decreased strength, and gross motor skills, as well as visual motor and fine motor skills., • Certification or continuing education in The Listening Program, Handwriting Without Tears, Visual Processing disorders, splints., • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a strong desire to work with children with developmental disabilities, • Patience, persistence and ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team 401k program, PTO and medical benefits insurance available to eligible (based on # of hours working each week) employees.
