As an inside sales rep, at our Huntington Station Headquarters, you will have your own territory and work as a team with your partner field sales rep. Teq provides training that enables you to ‘own’ your business and become the go-to expert that schools want as a consultant. As a sales rep , you will have a pipeline that includes pre-existing customers, but the majority of your time will be spent generating new opportunities. What you’ll do In the first week... • Learn Teq’s product and service offerings; practice sales techniques, • Learn systems including our CRM, automated phone system, etc., • Create presentations of products and services, outline your daily tasks, develop personal goals, • Observe Teams meetings and sales calls to see how our solutions are pitched, what needs and challenges our customers have, and the Teq value proposition, • Become familiar with funding sources for schools, • Learn to accurately log/update progress and collaborate on strategic territory plans, • Get to know your territory; perfect talking points and sales strategies, • Meet and exceed targets to earn high commissions, • Continue cultivating and nurturing relationships to manage pipeline and grow revenue, • Communicate daily with clients via phone, email, and video chat, • Conduct web demos and schedule site visits for your outside sales teammate, • Identify new opportunities for revenue and expand influence, • Leverage supporting departments to identify additional product/service needs, • Participate in on-going educational and training opportunities, • 3-5 years of inside sales experience; self-motivated and driven, • Strong communication skills; ability to build and maintain relationships, • Excellent organization and time-management skills with ability to prioritize, • Be highly collaborative, reliable, and a team player, • A robust work ethic with a sense of accountability, • Be coachable, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, • Base salary PLUS uncapped commission with opportunity to make over $100k+ your first year, • Generous PTO plus 15 paid holidays, • We take work-life balance seriously! Duties and Responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks) Diagnose and resolve IT related hardware, software, and network issues Configuration and installation of new IT equipment at client locations Installation, setup, and support of VoIP systems Configure user accounts in Active Directory, O365 and other applications Track customer issues and resolutions in our ticketing system Proactively monitor, manage, and support client networks Perform software and hardware updates and maintenance Investigate security breaches and vulnerabilities Collaborate with other team members to solve complex issues Recommend hardware and software improvements to clients Monitor data backups and perform file restorations or disaster recovery Rebuild/re-image computers and transferring/saving user profiles and data Resolve virus and malware issues VPN setup and troubleshooting Backup/Restoration and Disaster Recovery Requirements and Qualifications At least 2 yrs. experience in an IT support related position ConnectWise and MSP experience +++ Cisco and Meraki experience +++ Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 and Mac OS X Cybersecurity experience or certification a plus, but not required.
