Job Description Station 45 is an iconic fine dining steakhouse located in the beautifully restored historic Lackawanna Train Station. We are seeking an executive chef to lead our culinary program and team. This is an opportunity to showcase your skill and passion for food in the area's highest profile kitchen in a landmark setting where timeless architecture meets modern luxury dining. We are looking for a chef who respects classic steakhouse traditions while bringing in their own creativity and elevated technique and strong leadership to the table. Some of the duties: overseeing the kitchen operation is food quality, food costs, daily specials and presentation, manage food and labor costs without compromising our standard, maintain consistency and a clean compliant kitchen. Duties • Lead and supervise the entire culinary team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment, • Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, emphasizing fine dining excellence, • Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet high standards, • Manage inventory control and procurement processes to optimize food costs and minimize waste, • Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen operations, • Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with meticulous attention to detail, • Oversee shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet service demands while maintaining team morale, • Supervise dietary department activities, ensuring compliance with nutritional guidelines and special dietary needs, • Implement training programs focused on culinary techniques, food safety, and customer service excellence, • Proven experience in food production, restaurant management, or hospitality leadership with a strong background in fine dining settings, • Extensive culinary experience with expertise in cooking techniques and menu planning, • Supervising experience managing diverse teams within a busy kitchen or food service environment, • Knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and cost optimization strategies, • Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices, • Experience in catering, banquet services, or large-scale event coordination is highly desirable, • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively, • Familiarity with kitchen management software and food service management tools Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In personStation 45 is an iconic fine dining steakhouse located in the beautifully restored historic Lackawanna Train Station.
