Job Description C.H. Thompson is currently seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join our dynamic team and support our production operations. As a supervisor you will be responsible for managing the flow of work and materials to maximize production throughput and efficiency, ultimately ensuring we meet all on-time delivery goals. Position Overview Leadership and Supervision: • Direct and support the team to maintain high performance, staying focused on task completion while upholding safety and quality standards., • Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments., • Monitor production schedules to ensure job targets are met., • Drive process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity across operations., • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, such as documentation errors, by collaborating with engineering and quality teams to address missing or incorrect paperwork., • Help to keep employees on task and promote increased throughput by assisting with racking, prepping, inspecting, material handling, and by gathering proper paperwork and materials needed., • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and continuous improvement., • Oversee the processes, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively., • Ensure all team members have the necessary supplies and tools to complete their jobs efficiently and plan ahead to ensure there are no gaps in production and/or down time., • Review and interpret detailed work order instructions to guide the team in accurately painting parts according to specifications., • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency., • Experience:, • Previous experience in production or manufacturing supervisory role preferred., • Skills:, • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and/or ideas professionally across all levels of the organization., • Ability to create and maintain positive and professional relationships at all levels of the organization., • Strong attention to detail, • Strong analytical skills, • Ability to problem-solve issues to their root cause and work to implement corrective action., • Excellent organization skills., • Wage, • $20.00 - $25.00 per hour., • Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience., • Benefits - We recognize the value of a comprehensive benefits package and work vigorously to ensure our package meets the needs of our employees and their families.
