Under moderate supervision, you will be responsible for setting up and operating all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment. You will undertake production tasks in accordance with work instructions while maintaining company safety and quality expectations. You will also perform basic maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot problems, or arrange for supervisor to have equipment repaired or serviced by appropriate technicians. What You'll Be Doing: · Set up, operate, and program various manufacturing machines (methods, tooling, and fixtures to assure proper methodology). · Read and interpret work Instructions and assembly outlines. · Review and understand blueprint geometric dimensioning/tolerancing and notes. · Apply interpretation of blueprint to assembly build. Ensure all print specifications are met. · Inspect assemblies and document dimensional compliance using micrometers, vernier calipers and other measuring instruments. · Identify abnormalities and quality defects in assembly build. · Use standardized guidelines for setups, tooling, fixtures and equipment.
