Job Description Groth Pain and Spine is looking to add an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to our growing practice. This role focuses on high-level functional assessments, objective documentation, and targeted non-operative pain interventions, including shockwave therapy and trigger point injections. You will work within a multidisciplinary care model, collaborating closely with chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists, requiring a strong understanding of conservative treatment modalities and how to integrate them into comprehensive patient care plans. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Chiropractors, while also maintaining a high level of autonomy and ownership over your patient panel. bout this specialized role below: Position Overview: We are seeking an efficient and highly trained APP for a specialized functional evaluation and interventional role within our pain management practice. This position is ideal for someone comfortable working within New York State Workers’ Compensation, No-Fault, and personal injury cases, with a strong understanding of orthopedic evaluations and range of Key Responsibilities: · Perform comprehensive functional and orthopedic evaluations, including detailed range of motion (ROM) testing with objective measurements · Evaluate and manage patients involved in Workers’ Compensation, No-Fault, and personal injury cases · Perform pain management interventions, including: o Trigger Point Injections (TPI) o Shockwave therapy · Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating both interventional and conservative care strategies · Collaborate with and coordinate care alongside chiropractic, physical therapy, and massage therapy teams · Maintain accurate, defensible documentation for medico-legal cases · Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members · Travel between Nassau and Suffolk County offices as needed What Makes This Role Unique: · High level of autonomy — manage your own workflow and patient care · Work within a true multidisciplinary model combining interventional and conservative care · Focus on objective functional outcomes and measurable progress · Exposure to high-volume personal injury and WC/NF cases · Ability to develop expertise in specialized evaluation techniques and procedures · Work in a fast-growing, high-performance environment Compensation & Incentives: · Competitive base salary · High incentive-based bonus structure (strong earning potential) · CME allowance and ongoing training opportunities · Health insurance, PTO, paid holidays · 401(k) with match Qualifications: · NP or PA license in New York State · Experience (or strong interest) in: o Workers’ Compensation / No-Fault / Personal Injury o Orthopedic and functional assessments o Range of motion testing o Conservative treatment modalities (chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy) · Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision · Willingness to travel between Nassau and Suffolk locations · Strong documentation and communication skills · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment This is not a role for someone looking to stay comfortable.
