Position Summary The CNC Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machining equipment and general production support systems in a manufacturing environment certified under ISO 13485. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, minimal downtime, and adherence to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. This technician supports operations through timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installation/modification efforts. The role also includes facility support for auxiliary equipment and infrastructure, with a focus on Lean manufacturing principles. Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum 10 years of continuous hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment, with demonstrated expertise in setup and operation., • Proficient in the use of precision measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators., • Strong understanding of metal material properties (e.g., aluminum, steel, inconel, tool steel) and cutting tool technology., • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight while consistently delivering high-quality results., • Ability to sit/stand at a CNC workstation for extended periods., • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed., • Must be physically able to navigate the warehouse and access inventory at various heights.
