For alumni who are not currently enrolled, the Advisor will provide proactive outreach and individualized guidance to help them evaluate options and take next steps toward enrollment. For alumni who are not yet ready to enroll, or who have completed a program but have not secured a job, the Advisor will provide ongoing coaching and job placement support. The role centers on delivering support primarily via nudge text technology - crafting, maintaining, refining and delivering timely, relevant text nudges aligned to alumni needs and pathway milestones - and then supplementing these nudge texts with direct 1:1 advising provided through a combination of text, video and phone conversations. About the Team: Our development team includes five full‐time employees and one Development Fellow led by the Director of Development, and they oversee all aspects of fundraising. The Development Associate reports directly to the Individual Giving Officer and Director of Special Events and works closely with every member of the development team to collaboratively meet our goals. About the Position: • Serves as a concierge to all individual donors, including Repeat Defenders (our patron program,) Young Defenders (our young patron program,) as well as Trustees, major donors, and special event attendees. Responsibilities: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in the program by providing close supervision of all activities. Work as a supportive team member within the Early Childhood Learning Center by providing supervision and coaching to Assistant Teachers, Teacher Aides, Early Childhood Specialists, and volunteers. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate and engaging lessons and activities, including but not limited to literacy, arts, math, science, outdoor/indoor recreation, and field trips. Develop classroom centers, coordinated with the ongoing curriculum, that respond to children's interests. Facilitate Lesson Plans and Student Assessments through an App Guide students in their academic growth.
