We have been working with municipalities for over 30 years providing assessment and defense in small claims proceedings. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare and defend valuations in small claims assessment review proceedings on behalf of municipalities. · Assist in the preparation and maintenance of assessment rolls for multiple municipalities. · Research and analyze local market data, comparable sales, and property records to ensure accurate valuations. · Review Computer generated Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) for reasonableness. · Make changes to CMA when necessary to provide an accurate estimate of market value. · Conference cases on behalf of the municipality in an effort to dispose of pending small claims cases. · Collaborate with municipal officials, attorneys, and staff to resolve assessment and valuation issues.
