Job Description Job Title: Plumber Job Description This role focuses on the installation, layout, and finishing of plumbing systems for large-scale construction projects. You will install and connect PEX, PVC, copper, and gas piping systems, perform both rough and finish plumbing, and ensure all plumbing lines meet code and project specifications. Responsibilities • Install and assemble plumbing systems including PEX, PVC, copper, and gas lines for new construction projects., • Perform rough-in plumbing for plumbing lines, gas lines, sanitary lines, shower lines, and drain lines in a multi-unit residential building., • Lay out and install PVC systems for drains, showers, sinks, bathtubs, and other fixtures according to project plans., • Complete finish plumbing work, including setting fixtures and final connections for showers, sinks, bathtubs, and related equipment., • Fit and secure pipes using appropriate pipefitting techniques, ensuring proper alignment, support, and sealing., • Interpret and work from blueprints and plumbing designs to plan and execute plumbing system installations. Essential Skills • Strong hands-on experience with plumbing installation, including PEX, PVC, and copper pipe systems., • Proficiency in installing and working with gas lines and sanitary lines., • Demonstrated ability to perform both rough and finish plumbing in residential or commercial settings., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing system designs accurately., • Skilled in brazing and soldering copper piping., • Experience with PVC layout and installation for drains, showers, sinks, and bathtubs., • Proficient in pipefitting techniques, including fitting, cutting, and securing pipes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience with large-scale residential or commercial plumbing projects., • Familiarity with plumbing systems design and layout planning., • Strong attention to detail to ensure clean and accurate finish plumbing work., • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a construction team., • Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and other trades on-site., • Commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
