Duties: Perform all Class A Mechanic duties assigned by supervisor which shall consist of inspecting, removing, repairing, replacing, testing, adjusting, diagnosing trouble, and determining serviceability of all units wiring, etc. , on any combustion-propelled vehicles or any equipment used in maintenance and service of same, using special tools, instruments, and other machinery when required, and other related duties. Schedule: Probation schedule is Monday through Friday and rotates shifts (44 days). After probation, the schedule may be days, evenings or nights; any day of the week. Schedule is determined based on seniority. This is a DOT regulated position, all previous employers for the last 10 years must be entered into the application process per the 49 CFR.
