Job DescriptionDescription: Job Purpose: The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic community partnerships to support the organization’s growth, with a focus on recruiting children and families into the program. A successful Recruitment Specialist will be energetic and self-driven, outgoing, and personable with the ability to work independently and as a part of a cohesive team. Confidence in public speaking and presenting to large and small audiences is a critical part of this role. Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Conduct 70 to 100 outreach and orientation phone calls daily., • Build awareness of the organization through presentations, speaking engagements, in-person meetings, and networking with schools, community organizations, corporations, faith-based institutions, and other relevant groups., • Manage and develop partnerships: Design and implement a recruitment strategy tailored to targeted Long Island neighborhoods., • Generate applications: Implement a strategic plan to engage youth and families, assisting them throughout the enrollment process., • Attend external events, including fairs, community board, and neighborhood meetings., • Strengthen the brand: Plan and execute community events to promote the organization’s mission and mentorship needs., • Represent the organization as a spokesperson at community events and potential media engagements., • Collaborate with the Digital Content Creator to create digital recruitment materials and social media campaigns., • Assist in developing marketing materials for recruitment efforts., • Conduct orientation sessions for new participants., • Attend and participate in agency-sponsored events., • Additional duties as assigned. Requirements: Skills & Qualifications • Prior sales experience preferred., • Experience working in Youth Development is a plus., • Excellent public speaking skills, confident in presenting to large audiences., • Strong relationship-building skills through networking and community outreach., • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred., • Must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License with a clean driving record., • Ability to travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties., • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends., • Strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and persuasive skills to effectively represent the organization to the public. Schedule: Wednesday: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM Thursday: 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Rate: $25/Hour Physical Requirements: • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. This role owns social media and influencer marketing strategy and execution for Korg, VOX, Aguilar, and Spector, with accountability for performance, content quality, creator partnerships, and community growth. For Blackstar, Audient, and Darkglass, the role serves as a strategic advisor, offering guidance on platform strategy, influencer best practices, and performance insights. The Manager leads one direct report and works cross functionally with Creative, Content, DTC/eCommerce, Product Marketing, and Artist Relations. For Korg and VOX, the role will occasionally collaborate with the global marketing team in Paris to align on major initiatives, while maintaining day to day ownership within the U.S. team. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Social & Influencer Strategy • Develop and execute annual social and influencer strategies for Korg, VOX, Aguilar, and Spector, aligned with brand and marketing objectives, • Translate brand priorities into platform specific plans that balance storytelling, community engagement, and performance, • Define and track KPIs tied to engagement, reach, audience growth, and conversion, • Provide strategic guidance and best practice recommendations to partner brands (Blackstar, Audient, Darkglass) Team & Program Management: • Manage, mentor, and develop one direct report, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities, • Oversee day to day execution across social publishing, influencer coordination, affiliate activity, and reporting, • Establish scalable workflows, content calendars, and operational best practices across owned brands Influencer & Creator Marketing: • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and affiliates across priority brands, • Support the development and evolution of ambassador and affiliate programs, with a focus on authenticity and measurable impact, • Partner with Artist Relations, advising on social media best practices, content amplification, and creator storytelling. Social Channel Strategy & Content Flow: • Own platform strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels, • Partner with the Marketing Lead and Creative/Content teams to ensure a steady pipeline of brand aligned content, • Balance planned content with timely, reactive moments tied to product launches, artists, and cultural trends DTC & Social Commerce Support: • Collaborate with DTC/eCommerce partners to support campaigns that connect social and influencer activity to commercial goals, • Support social commerce initiatives such as product tagging, affiliate links, and launch driven content, • Contribute to integrated go to market plans for key product launches Performance, Reporting & Insights: • Analyze social and influencer performance and translate results into actionable insights, • Prepare clear, concise performance summaries and recommendations for the Director of Product Planning & Marketing, • Use data to refine strategies, optimize content mix, and inform future campaigns Community & Cultural Engagement: • Foster meaningful two way engagement with musicians, creators, and fans across platforms, • Help ensure brand voices remain authentic, informed, and culturally relevant REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: • 4–6+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing for a consumer, lifestyle, or premium brand, • Experience managing social channels and influencer/creator partnerships, • Prior people management experience (or strong readiness to lead and develop others), • Strong understanding of social platforms, content trends, and community dynamics, • Comfortable owning programs end to end while collaborating cross functionally, • Experience analyzing performance and presenting insights, • Familiarity with social and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, GA4), • Passion for music or musical instruments strongly preferred, • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
