We are looking for a New York State licensed Clinical Psychologist (PHD or PsyD) to provide direct outpatient client therapy and supervise pre-licensed therapists to help expand access to quality mental health care across Nassau County. It is anticipated the individual will see approximately 20 clients per week and supervise 6-8 pre-licensed therapists consisting of Limited Permit Psychologists, Master Social Workers, Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit holders, Marriage and Family Therapists and/or Interns. Responsibilities Include: Client Care • Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews and case notes., • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals., • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session., • Provide 1:1 and group supervision to a subset of the clinics mental health practitioners including reviewing and electronically signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers., • Conduct and participate in therapist interviews to achieve clinic hiring objectives., • Be a part of clinics community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with Clinic Management., • Operations manuals, employee handbooks and training materials will be provided., • Staff new hire onboarding and training., • Administrative functions (e.g. scheduling, billing)., • Human resources (e.g. payroll)., • Centralized credentialing and onboarding toolkits for new hires., • NY Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a PhD or PsyD degree., • Experience supervising other mental health therapists., • Knowledge of New York State requirements regulating mental health practice., • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures., • Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.
