Job Description Intro: M0 is the universal stablecoin platform. With M0, builders can create their own application-specific stablecoins, and customize attributes such as branding, transfer & compliance behaviors, and yield distribution mechanics. By leveraging M0, businesses can monetize their digital dollar use cases and maintain control over their money tech stack, while not being burdened by issuance and operational heavy-lifting. If you are a great marketer though, we expect you to have strong opinions and criticisms about the initial paragraph above. We came up with it ourselves - that much we can do. Will you help us do a hundred times better than that? The stablecoin sector (we prefer "digital dollars" but, again, we are not marketers) has recently surpassed $300 billion in size - it should reach $1 trillion and then more within the next 5 years. Developers of crypto and fintech applications around the world realized that stablecoin technology is not a product, but digital money infrastructure - a platform to build things on top. M0 has pioneered the category of open, universal, stablecoin platforms. Open platforms that are based on interoperable and open standards; available for every developer everywhere; allowing for any customization; open to multiple issuers. However, competition is now here, and aggressively trying to capture mind share. The question will be what brand will builders choose to build on, and why? We are a bold, high-caliber, accomplished team, with massive ambitions and a permanent sense of urgency. We have raised $100 million from some of the best investors in the industry. We are now looking for our first ever VP Marketing to lead us into battle. These will be your key responsibilities: • Own and develop all aspects of marketing within the M0 project, whether it be brand, strategy, design, comms, social, events, etc., • Engage with our customers, partners, as well as internal business development and product teams, in order to deeply understand and express customers' needs, segmenting them appropriately and designing intelligent positioning & messaging., • Become the custodian of the M0 voice, narrative and brand, simplifying it, refining it, nurturing it and developing it as one of the most valuable brands in crypto and fintech., • Elevate the level of awareness and clarity around the M0 platform, having it occupy a unique and valuable space in the minds of users, prospects and ecosystem participants., • Design and execute on marketing campaigns to achieve the strategic goals of the M0 project on an annual basis., • Own and develop the visual identity of the M0 project and how it is expressed across all external and internal touchpoints., • 5+ years experience as a senior marketing leader with broad marketing responsibilities., • You have a proven track record of bringing crypto products or services to market, particularly in B2B contexts., • You have demonstrable experience building unique brands, managing the product marketing lifecycle, architecting remarkable campaigns, and delivering best in class communications across a diverse set of stakeholders.
