This position provides comprehensive assessment and treatment to address identified personal, behavioral, or family issues, utilizing a strength-based approach that focuses on youth and family development. POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Support Clinician is responsible for the delivery of clinical guidance including securing potential resources. The Clinical Support Clinician will support, recommend and monitor that the approach to treatment used is trauma-informed, strength-based and emphasizes both short-term and long-term goals to restore and maintain safety for family members. The Clinical Support Clinician will research and refer to community resources, when appropriate. Supervisor can sign off on clinical hours earned in this position towards a clinical license. The team assists with family engagement approaches, with assessing/screening for the most pressing needs, and with identifying and facilitating connections to relevant resources. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for general oversight and administration of all aspects of programming and will report to the Vice President. The qualified candidate will provide leadership, direction and support to the program’s supervisory staff and their respective clinical teams. The Program Director must possess previous experience in providing services to IPV families and families with substance use disorder histories. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring all the requirements of the program regulations are met, that staff are recruited, trained and properly supervised. (And understands HIPAA), • Provide mental health services within the Eight Dimensions of Wellness., • Also provide any other linkages, and/or referrals to such services., • Provide comprehensive support for employment acquisition and any requested educational assistance, • Maintain face-to-face/direct services and an ongoing caseload., • Facilitate activities (groups, etc.) that promote all services., • Maintain a formal office area, organized to promote our services., • Promote empowerment, self-advocacy, and self-esteem through a sharing of your real world experiences., • Provide as much “hands-on” assistance as possible, when asked for, or it is clearly needed., • Advocate for other needed services and assist participants to negotiate other service systems., • Provide information about entitlement and accompanying participants to government offices when needed., • Document all services delivered to participants according to agency policies., • To gain a command of the Acclaim (Foothold) data-base program within a reasonable length of time., • Enter information into data-base in a timely and accurate manner., • Maintain administrative, program, and participant records in a complete and organized manner consistent with all applicable policies, rules, regulations, and procedures., • Submit accurate and timely reports as requested by the agency management. (Ex. Monthly Log summary, and information for DOHMH (Department of Health and Mental Hygiene) and OMH (Office of Mental Health) (Office of Mental Health) reports), • Participate in ongoing trainings designed to enhance growth and skill development., • Perform office, program, and agency duties as required.
