Job Description Reports to: VP of Talent and People Management Location: Hybrid, based in Garden City, NY with travel to work locations Status: Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary The Assistant Director of Talent and People Management plays a key role in building and sustaining a high-performing, mission-aligned workforce. This position supports all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. The Assistant Director serves as a thought partner to senior leadership and a trusted resource to managers and staff across the organization. This role requires demonstrated experience in guiding projects from initial planning through to successful completion. Job Description In the Assistant Director (RN) role, you will serve as clinical support and backup to the Director for all independent external appeals activities. You will assist with management of day-to-day operations of all client products, including administrative denials, medical necessity review, claims reviews, and DRG review. The Assistant Director (RN) will provide training and development for review activities to internal staff. Duties include but are not limited to: • With Director supervision, responsible for overseeing and tracking compliance with various health care rules, jurisdictional laws/regulations, and contract requirements.
