Your Role The Market Clinical Director combines advanced clinical expertise with strategic leadership, supporting our provider partners in the delivery of high quality, cost-effective, and patient-centered care. You will have proven clinical leadership experience along with a deep understanding of value-based care models and provider engagement. While not providing direct patient care, you will partner with market operational and clinical leadership to support Honest's clinical programs. You will also represent Honest and our programs to external partners and providers through relationship management, provider education, and clinical guidance. This position will be remote, but you must be located in or nearby the assigned market(s) due to the frequency with which you will be meeting with local practices and partner leadership. This role will report to the Market Chief Medical Officer. Primary Functions of the Market Clinical Director Include: • Offer clinical decision support to care management team (nurse care managers and care coordinators) in support of Honest's clinical programs in assigned market, • Handle escalated clinical issues, including those that come from partner practices and patients., • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership in partnership with market nursing and operational leadership., • Represent Honest at external stakeholder meetings, including partner and practice meetings., • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional team members to develop strategies, drive performance, and achieve desired outcomes., • Deliver clinical documentation education to provider partners., • Monitor and influence clinical performance indicators, including utilization, quality outcomes, patient experience, and provider outcomes., • Build strong, collaborative relationships with physician partners and care teams., • Ensure adherence to clinical pathways and workflows aligned with regulatory and value-based care requirements (e.g., ACO REACH, Medicare Advantage)., • Perform other responsibilities as required. You accept things change quickly in a startup environment and are willing to pivot quickly on priorities. • Completion of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistant (PA-C) with unrestricted state license, including board certification, • 5+ years of clinical practice experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), with at least 2 years in a leadership role, • Experience in value-based care delivery, population health, or risk-based models (ACO and/or Medicare Advantage), • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, payer-provider dynamics, and quality metrics, • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to engage diverse audiences, both internal and external., • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create clear, visually compelling, and persuasive materials for diverse audiences., • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, • Proficient with EHRs and clinical data analysis tools, • Familiarity with population health platforms, • Willing and able to travel throughout assigned market as needed The base pay range for this role is $145,200.00 - $170,600.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs.
