Union Beer Distributors is currently looking for an Off-premise Sales Representative to sell, promote and grow our ever-expanding portfolio in the world's most fast-paced, competitive, and demanding market – Long Island. We are selling world-class craft, import, and domestic beers. This Candidate will be responsible for calling on an assigned account base to merchandise our inventory throughout the Long Island region as well as assist in sales calls and take part in other company initiatives. Total compensation range including bonuses: $55,000 - $60,700 per year. What you will be doing: • Develop a rapport with an assigned customer base and promote the goodwill of the company., • Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed, • Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS, • Conduct promotions in accounts regularly or when required, • Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neon's and banners at all accounts, • Execute monthly goals as related to business activities, • Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area, • Degree or equivalent work experience preferred, • Certified Beer Server preferred, • Excellent oral and written communications skills, • Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance, • Knowledge of Suffolk & Nassau County, • Must have access to personal vehicle, • Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance - $0 in-network deductible, better-than-average premium contribution, • Paid time off & holidays, • 401k Savings Plan with company match, • Growth & development opportunities, • Employee Assistance Program with Work-Life Services, • Employee Wellbeing Program, • Tuition Assistance Program, • Discounted Pet Insurance, • Personal technology and cell phone plan discounts The Sheehan Family Companies are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Daily responsibilities include: * Greeting and assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner * Understanding customer needs and recommending the right vehicle * Conducting test drives and showcasing vehicle features * Presenting financing and leasing options * Negotiating terms within dealership guidelines * Staying up to date on current inventory, pricing, and promotions * Providing details on warranties, vehicle history, and service options * Following up with customers to build long-term relationships * Generating repeat and referral business through exceptional service * Completing accurate paperwork and contracts * Collaborating with finance and service teams for smooth transactions What We’re Looking For ✔ Previous automotive sales experience a plus (but not required – we provide training!) ✔ Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills ✔ Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ✔ Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software ✔ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ✔ Willingness to complete manufacturer training and build product knowledge Schedule * Monday – Friday * Weekend availability required ????
