Overview: Interstate Waste is Hiring Class A Truck Drivers in Jersey City, NJ Overnight Position - 8pm start Monday - Friday with 1/2 day on Saturday $28.95/Hour The CDL-A Drivers will be operating tractor trailers transporting containers of municipal and commercial waste between our local Transfer Stations and our rail yards. Primary Focus: Mechanical and Electrical repairs and installation of fueling systems and responsible for performing a variety of on-site functionality testing and inspections of mainly retail fuel facilities. What You’ll Be Responsible For: • Responsible for maintaining manufacturer certifications., • Mechanical repairs, installation and startup of fueling systems., • Electronic repairs, installation and startup of fueling systems., • Minor electrical repairs of fueling systems., • Repairs tank field components. i.e., spill buckets, ball floats, overfill protection, etc., • Repair of Veeder Root Systems., • Repairs and installation of electronic cash registers and consoles., • Repairs and installation of electronic tank monitoring systems, incl. all components., • Repairs and installation of all fueling control panels., • Repairs and installation to the Point of Service (POS) Systems., • Repairs and installation of the intercoms., • Perform calibrations and reporting to state agencies with all proper documentation and paperwork., • To perform manufacturer’s warranty calls where applicable and all necessary paperwork required by manufacturer., • Communicates with Service Operations Manager on any related situations pertaining to job.
