Your job requires patrolling assigned areas to detect any signs of criminal activity or security risks. • Conducting routine patrols of designated areas to detect any signs of intrusion or damage. This involves utilizing a customer vehicle to drive around to the various schools in the district., • Traversing the premises, checking doors and windows, and ensuring external lighting is functioning properly., • Responding promptly to School Command Center calls or alarms, like fire alarms or security breaches., • Assessing situations, securing the area to prevent unauthorized access, contacting emergency responders if needed, • Deterring criminal activity and vandalism taken place, • Providing escorts for employees or clients if requested for safety, and if necessary, accompany to parking lots, vehicles or buildings., • 1 year security experience, • Valid driver's license

Job Description School Security - Retired Law Enforcement Background - Nassau County, NY $26.58 hr.
