Job DescriptionRole Overview: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager, leading daily warehouse operations, and supervising hourly staff. This role focuses on building a cohesive team, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and productivity. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong experience in warehouse operations, team supervision, and inventory control, with the ability to manage schedules, support production needs, and ensure compliance with food safety and operational standards. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) and requires flexibility to work overtime and on weekends as needed. Job Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Warehouse supervisory experience within a manufacturing or food production environment., • Experience managing inventory, shipping, and material flow operations., • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, BatchMaster) and inventory tracking., • Strong understanding of GMP, food safety, and warehouse safety standards., • Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment operations., • Ability to manage employee schedules, performance, and productivity., • Strong communication and ability to coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams., • Availability to work extended hours, overtime, and weekends.Performance Metrics (KPI):, • Maintain accurate inventory levels and material availability., • Ensure consistent attendance, productivity, and team performance., • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant warehouse conditions., • Ensure proper use and condition of warehouse equipment.Personal Attributes / Skills:, • Strong sense of integrity and accountability., • Leadership mindset with focus on coaching and team development., • High standards for quality and performance., • Strong decision-making and ability to manage high-pressure situations., • Adaptable and responsive to changing operational priorities., • Organized with strong planning and time management skills., • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.Physical Requirements:, • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and move throughout the facility., • Frequent interaction with warehouse equipment and materials., • Ability to support operational tasks during extended shifts.Key Responsibilities:, • Supervise warehouse operations: Lead daily activities and support the Warehouse Manager in overall execution., • Manage personnel: Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure adherence to procedures, safety standards, and performance expectations., • Coordinate scheduling: Support workforce planning, adjust staffing levels, and manage daily schedules based on operational needs., • Optimize productivity: Organize personnel and equipment to maximize efficiency across warehouse functions., • Oversee inventory management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate material supply, and ensure accurate inventory tracking using SAP and BatchMaster., • Support material flow: Coordinate inbound and outbound materials, including supplier deliveries and returns from drivers and customers., • Maintain facility standards: Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation requirements., • Ensure food safety compliance by Monitoring stock rotation, lot tracking, temperature control, and proper allergen segregation., • Enforce safety standards: Promote safe work practices and proper use of equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks., • Handle employee performance: Conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and participate in disciplinary actions when needed., • Support operations in emergencies: Perform operational tasks as needed to maintain workflow and avoid disruptions., • Collaborate with leadership: Provide input to management and support operational decision-making and problem resolution., • Perform other duties as assigned.
