We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst specializing in Utilities to support financial planning, rate analysis, regulatory reporting, and operational performance evaluation. This role is responsible for analyzing utility-related financial data, forecasting revenue and expenses, supporting rate case filings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with an understanding of the utilities industry (electric, gas, water, or renewable energy). This is an on-site position in our Corporate office in Plainview, NY. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis & Reporting • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to utility operations, • Monitor revenue streams, operating costs, capital expenditures, and return on investment, • Support annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes, • Assist in the preparation of rate case filings and regulatory submissions, • Analyze performance metrics such as system efficiency, loss ratios, and service reliability, • Evaluate financial impact of policy changes, fuel cost adjustments, and market fluctuations, • Conduct benchmarking reporting Qualifications: Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required), • 2–5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably within utilities or the energy sector, • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • High attention to detail and accuracy, • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Experience in electric, gas, water/sewer utilities, • Knowledge of utility rate structures and energy markets Eagle Rock Management provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics
