Job Description Dryer Vent Wizard of Suffolk County is hiring a dependable, customer-focused Residential Construction Worker/ Dryer Vent Technician to serve clients in all over Suffolk County. You’ll be responsible for professionally cleaning, repairing, and installing dryer vent systems in residential, multi-unit, and commercial properties. This position requires you to be comfortable working safely on rooftops, climbing ladders, possessing strong communication skills and having the physical ability to lift and work with equipment through or within small spaces. Key Overview • Company vehicle, uniforms, and tools provided, • Competitive pay that is structured base plus commission, • 20+ years in business in Long Island Duties and Responsibilities • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of dryer vent systems and related equipment in the field, • Conduct comprehensive inspections and troubleshoot issues for clients, • Climb ladders and work on rooftops to access and service vents (residential, multi-unit, and commercial buildings), • Identify fire hazards, airflow issues, and code violations, and educate customers on solutions., • Maintain accurate records, complete invoices, and collect payments on-site as applicable., • Operate the company vehicle and maintain all tools, equipment, and safety gear., • Assist in keeping the company’s vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, in good working order, and in working condition Qualifications: • Experience is not required, we will provide the necessary training, • Prior experience or mechanical aptitude in HVAC, Electrical, construction or home services, maintenance, or similar trades is a plus Requirements • Must be 18 years of age with a clean driving record and a valid driver's license, • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs., and work in crawl spaces or tight areas, • Positive attitude and work ethic, • Able to work independently, • Willingness to travel throughout Suffolk County, • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, • Sales-minded approach – you’re comfortable explaining services and recommending upgrades, • Employment is contingent upon a background check conducted in accordance with applicable laws Rewards: • Paid training, certification, and ongoing development, • Competitive compensation: base pay + commissions + quarterly bonuses, • Company vehicle, uniforms, and tools provided, • 401K Match, • Growth opportunities within a fast-growing, locally owned franchise If you’re ready to grow with a company that values YOU, safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you!
