We are currently interviewing for full-time and/or part-time positions. Our full-time employees are expected to work 34-40 hours each week and be available for weekend work. Our part-time employees are expected to work between 20-24 hours a week and be available for weekend work. Everyone working at the Camp is expected to contribute in providing a superior customer service experience. Job Summary We are searching for a Dog Groomer to join the team at our successful grooming business. As a Dog Groomer, you will bathe and perform hair cuts according to breed-specific standards and owner preferences. You will also trim/grind nails, clean ears, clean teeth, detangle hair, perform anal gland expression and generally ensure that dogs look and feel their best. If you are reliable, compassionate, and have a love for dogs, we want to hear from you! Clear communication with pet parents at drop off is crucial to ensure you understand the client's expectations. Responsibilities and Requirements • Brush and detangle or remove matted fur, • Bathe dogs and dry coat, • Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests, • Examine for parasites or other skin conditions, • Trim or grind nails, • Ensure the safety of dogs at all times, • Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures, • Communicate clearly, effectively, and compassionately with pet owners, • Must love dogs and demonstrate no fear across all breeds and sizes, • Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable with both pets and people, • Have a positive attitude, are extremely detailed oriented, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, and responsible, • Be physically able to lift 150+ pounds, • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, • Have a reliable personal vehicle, • Be available to work during the hours of 6:15am-7:45pm as well as holidays and weekendsQualifications, • Graduation from accredited grooming school or 3+ years experience grooming dogs, • Comfortable working with anxious dogs, • Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 100 pounds, • Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education, • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and pet parents, • Strong attention to detail, • Reliable, • Good time management skills, • Portfolio requiredBenefits/Perks, • Flexible Scheduling, • Career Advancement Opportunities, • Competitive Compensation, • Paid Time Off (PTO) for full time employees (34-40 hours) after the one-year anniversary of employment., • Sick Time, • Holiday Bonuses, • Incentive Bonuses, • Paid Training, • Retirement plan, • Positive, drama free working environment, • Commission based pay for experienced candidatesVersion: 4.29.2026
