Job Description Administrative Assistant – Skilled Trades Support Location: Bohemia, NY Pay: $19–$22/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM About the Role Join a small, collaborative office team that supports skilled trades services across Suffolk and Nassau counties. This role is key to keeping operations organized and efficient for a company that’s been serving the community for decades. Must-Have Skills • 1+ year of administrative experience., • Experience with CRM systems (Jobber preferred)., • Strong communication and organizational skills., • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel., • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively., • Be the first point of contact for customers—answer calls, emails, and handle inquiries professionally., • Schedule appointments, dispatch jobs, and keep technicians on track., • Maintain accurate client records and job details in Jobber., • Assist with quotes, invoices, data entry, and permit paperwork., • Coordinate with warehouse and field teams to manage inventory and job readiness., • Help with warehouse tasks (loading/unloading, inventory updates) for 60–90 minutes daily., • 1+ year of administrative or office support experience., • Hands-on experience with CRM systems—Jobber preferred., • Strong communication and multitasking skills., • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook., • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills., • Valid driver’s license., • Stable Schedule: Start with 4 days/week, then transition to full-time., • Supportive Team: Join a small, friendly office replacing a long-time employee who is retiring., • Growth Opportunity: Be part of a company that values initiative and cross-functional support. This is a Permanent position based out of Bohemia, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
