Job DescriptionSalary: Medical Supply Technicians Sterile Processing Location: VA Fresno, CA| Business Hours: Two Shifts Available • Day Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM About the Role Sterile Processing Technicians are a vital part of the healthcare team. You will ensure that surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, inspected, and packagedplaying a critical role in patient safety and quality care. Key Responsibilities • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment., • Follow strict safety and compliance standards (AAMI, AORN, FDA, OSHA)., • Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, V-Pro, machine washers, ultrasonics)., • Inspect instruments for damage, wear, or malfunction., • Assemble, package, and label instruments to maintain sterility., • Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation., • Adhere to all PPE protocols and infection prevention practices., • Assist with training new team members as needed.
