Job DescriptionSalary: 18.00 -19.50 Correspondence will be done through email. Here at AmeriGuard Security, we are looking for Armed and Unarmed Security Officers. This position is responsible for deterring criminal activity by adhering to a facilitys security measures. Their duties include reviewing video surveillance equipment to identify odd behaviors, patrolling the interior and exterior of a property in set intervals, and only providing property access to authorized individuals. We are seeking candidates who are ready to embark on a career in Security. Our Security Officers are motivated, a passion for protecting our team members, clients, and assets. After 6 months of employment with AmeriGuard, we will reimburse you for the cost of your Guard Card. To be successful as a security guard, you must be alert and professional. A good security guard is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place. These are Part-Time positions. Schedule below. You can pick up other shifts if desired. Any shift listed may require the need to drive a company vehicle. Shift 1: 28.5 hours with opportunity for more. Saturday 0000-0830 Sunday 000-0830 Shift 4: 27.5 hours with opportunity for more. Monday OFF Tuesday OFF Wednesday 1100-1700 Thursday 1100-1700 Friday 1100-1700 Saturday 1100-1700 Sunday 1100-1700 Security Officer: * Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly. * Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behavior. * Communicating with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel. * Monitoring public access and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors. * Responding to alarms and analyzing security footage. * Investigating suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches. * Maintaining an activity log and preparing surveillance reports. * Adhering to company policies and legal regulations. Requirements: • Valid California Guard Card. Show guard card number on resume., • Valid California Drivers License for driving positions., • High school diploma or GED., • Personal mobile phone., • Fluent in English language., • 40 hours of required BSIS training or must complete within 6 months of employment., • Must be at least 18 years of age.
