Job Description Industrial Safety, Environmental & Security Compliance Analyst Help us keep operations safe, compliant, and ready for what’s next at the Louisville Brush Manufacturing and Distribution Center. If you thrive on tackling audits, interpreting regulations, and turning policy into practice, this role is for you. You will own day-to-day environmental tasks, lead assessments, and serve as the connective tissue between the site and Corporate EHS. This position does not include supervisory responsibilities. Your Impact • Implement Tennant EHS requirements with site leadership across applicable business units., • Translate corporate policies into site-ready procedures and create custom local documentation., • Develop and deliver EHS trainings; build practical toolkits tailored to site operations., • Handle permitting, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, waste pick-ups, and sampling., • Execute EHS compliance audits aligned to federal, state, local regulations and Tennant standards., • Conduct hazard and ergonomic assessments and evaluate program effectiveness., • Own EHS KPI tracking, reporting, and communication to site leadership and Corporate EHS., • Lead incident/injury reviews and drive timely closure of all corrective actions from near-misses and events., • Manage emergency response programs for the facility., • Support local security activities and ensure alignment to corporate security strategies., • Maintain relationships with regulators and the site’s medical provider., • Scan for local regulatory changes and inform Corporate EHS on potential corporate impacts., • Administer the site’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) program., • Escalate site EHS concerns requiring corporate assistance to Corporate EHS. Experience & Education, • Bachelor’s in safety, chemistry, biology, or related technical discipline with 2–5 years in safety/environmental/Hazmat, ideally in manufacturing and distribution., • Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing or similar settings managing safety/environmental responsibilities., • Solid command of OSHA requirements for distribution and manufacturing operations., • Hands-on experience with management of change, hazardous materials shipping, and ergonomic evaluations. Physical Requirements, • Lift/move: regularly up to 10 lbs; frequently up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 40 lbs., • Vision: close, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment., • Regular standing; manual handling of tools/controls; reaching with hands/arms., • Frequent walking, talking, and hearing. Environmental Conditions, • Regular proximity to moving mechanical parts., • Occasional exposure to non-toxic fumes., • Moderate noise environment. Personal Protective Equipment, • Safety glasses and safety shoes required at all times.
