Job Description Position Title: Psychologist (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Omni Resource Services, Inc. – Public Health & Wellness Center Designation: Site 31 – Non-FQHC Health Service Clinic/Center Schedule: Flexible | Contract-to-Full-Time Opportunity Reports To: Clinical Director / Behavioral Health Program Manager Organizational Overview Omni Resource Services, Inc. operates a Public Health and Wellness Center dedicated to improving the health and well-being of underserved and high-risk populations through a whole-person care model. Core services include: • Chronic disease management, • Mental and behavioral health care, • Substance use disorder services (MAT/MOUD), • Harm reduction and outreach Position Summary The Psychologist will provide diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and behavioral health interventions for individuals, families, and groups. Services will support patients with complex medical, behavioral, and social needs, including chronic illness, substance use disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and co-occurring conditions. The Psychologist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team of APRNs, behavioral health clinicians, Community Health Workers (CHWs), Patient Navigators, and outreach staff. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments using standardized tools., • Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy for patients with mental health and substance use challenges., • Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with medical and behavioral health teams., • Offer counseling to support patients with chronic disease self-management and behavioral lifestyle changes., • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization as needed., • Collaborate with care teams to integrate mental health into chronic disease, MAT/MOUD, and wellness programs., • Document encounters accurately for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance billing., • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives., • Engage in outreach and psychoeducation efforts to promote mental health awareness and destigmatization. Qualifications • Required:, • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology., • Active Kentucky state license as a Psychologist., • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare populations and billing requirements., • Preferred:, • Experience working in integrated or public health settings., • Knowledge of substance use, trauma-informed care, and co-occurring disorders., • Familiarity with value-based care, collaborative care models, and wrap-around services., • Bilingual or culturally competent service delivery. Starting Salary & Compensation • Hourly Rate (Contract): $55.00 – $65.00/hour, • Annual Salary (Full-Time): $95,000 – $110,000 per year (based on experience), • Flexible scheduling, telehealth options, and leadership opportunities as programs expand., • Opportunity for enhanced compensation through service-based billing and program growth.
