Job Description Overview As a Licensed Mental Health Professional working in a correctional facility, your responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, providing therapeutic interventions and suicide prevention techniques, and developing treatment plans for inmates. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns. * Interpret evaluation data and present findings to teachers, administrators, and families. * Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. * Provide consultation and support to school teams on intervention strategies and classroom accommodations. * Engage in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes. * Deliver short-term counseling or behavioral support services as needed. * Assist in crisis response and prevention initiatives. * Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements. Qualifications: * Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. * Arkansas certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain). * Strong background in psychological testing, behavior management, and educational consultation. * Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other relevant state/federal education regulations. * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in K12 educational settings. * Familiarity with digital documentation platforms and behavioral data tracking systems. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
