Job Description Our preschool classroom is a learning environment—not simply a childcare room. We are looking for an educator who can create meaningful learning experiences, build strong relationships with scholars and families, and help prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for kindergarten. Responsibilities The Preschool Teacher will: • Provide a safe, nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment., • Implement our Experience Curriculum and monthly curriculum materials with fidelity and creativity., • Create and follow weekly lesson plans based on children's developmental and academic needs., • Lead engaging circle time, small-group instruction, centers, and hands-on learning activities., • Teach early literacy skills including letter recognition, letter sounds, vocabulary, storytelling, name recognition, and beginning writing., • Support early math skills including counting, number recognition, sorting, patterns, shapes, and basic problem-solving., • Provide opportunities for fine-motor, gross-motor, sensory, science, art, dramatic play, and practical-life experiences., • Support social-emotional development, independence, problem-solving, and positive classroom behavior., • Encourage scholars to communicate, think, explore, ask questions, and do hard things., • Complete reading logs, homework materials, assessments, and other learning documentation as assigned., • Observe scholar progress and communicate developmental or academic concerns to administration., • Accurately complete attendance, meals, activities, incidents, and other required Brightwheel documentation., • Take meaningful classroom photos and provide families with appropriate updates about their child's learning., • Build positive, professional relationships with parents and families., • Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and tour-ready classroom every day., • Clean and sanitize classroom materials, tables, learning centers, and frequently touched surfaces., • Follow all center policies, licensing requirements, supervision procedures, and health and safety practices., • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, curriculum training, and coaching. Teachers are expected to arrive on time, maintain reliable attendance, and come prepared to actively teach and engage. We expect our Preschool Teacher to: • Be actively involved with scholars throughout the day., • Limit personal cell-phone use according to center policy., • Complete Brightwheel logs accurately and on time., • Prepare lessons and materials before instruction., • Keep classroom tablets and equipment charged and ready., • Maintain classroom cleanliness without repeatedly being reminded., • Follow opening and closing procedures completely., • Communicate professionally with families and coworkers., • Accept feedback and demonstrate improvement., • Take initiative and contribute positively to the center., • Treat every scholar with patience, respect, warmth, and professionalism.\nCompany Description Anointed Minds Early Learning Center is a nurturing, intentional childcare program serving children ages 6 weeks–5 years.
