The Role As an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) at K2 Space you will oversee and maintain compliance with cybersecurity regulations and best practices for our space systems and infrastructure. The ISSM will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies, risk assessments, and security controls to protect classified and unclassified information systems. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to coordinate with our national security stakeholders to meet their unique requirements for safeguarding classified information across the spectrum of sensitivities from controlled unclassified information to top secret special access programs. K2 Space is a fast-paced startup environment and as ISSM you must be able to quickly adapt and implement solutions in a dynamic workplace. Job Summary: Epirus is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to maintain the current classified infrastructure and lead Epirus' Information Security team's efforts to obtain Authorizations to Operate (ATO) on future projects. The ISSM will own the classified information system process from start to finish. The ISSM will be required to travel to customer sites or testing facilities as necessary. The ideal candidate is experienced working within the defense industry, has experience bringing multiple systems through the ATO process, and can perform in a fast-moving, startup environment.
