Job DescriptionDescription: Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor position is a non-exempt role within the Truck Parts & Service department, supervises the drivers and warehouse assistant, and reports directly to the Branch Manager. The Warehouse Supervisor role supports Betts Company’s mission by coordinating, delivering, organizing, and maintaining the integrity of parts inventory required to effectively service customers. This position plays an important part in daily branch operations and requires a high level of collaboration, accountability, and attention to detail. Success in the role depends on working closely with internal teams while upholding company values and supporting efficient, accurate, and safe warehouse operations. Responsibilities & DutiesLevel 1 Responsibilities: • Verify, check in, unload incoming deliveries, and complete required documentation, • Stock materials neatly, securely, and in designated locations, • Store materials according to identifying attributes (style, size, type), • Pull parts for the service shop and deliver to staging areas, • Fill customer orders for delivery, pickup, or shipment, • Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and documented, • Operate lift trucks to move merchandise, supplies, and equipment and load/unload trucks, • Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in software, • Restock and maintain organized showroom, • Coordinate warehouse activities with sales and delivery team, • Inspect warehouse facilities and equipment; report issues to Branch Manager, • Perform all Level 1 duties, • Verify quality of delivered materials and confirm accuracy against invoices, • Plan route maps to improve delivery driver efficiency, • Track and post Geotab safe-driving goals and results, • Track, sort, and ship brake shoe cores, • Communicate shipping discrepancies directly with vendors, • Perform all Level 1 and Level 2 duties, • Conduct facility planning to ensure safe working conditions, • Ensure warehouse infractions are corrected within 30 days, • Coordinate monthly branch safety meetings, • Order branch supplies including PPE and seasonal safety equipment, • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, • Track uniform company performance and review invoices, • Provide leadership to warehouse and driving team members, • Forklifts and pallet jacks (manual and electric), • Hand trucks, carts, ladders, • Box cutters, tape dispensers, packing materials, • Barcode scanners and label printers, • Cell phones, GPS devices, standard office equipment, • Inventory and shipping software, • Desktop computers or tablets, • PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, steel-toe boots), • Banders, shrink-wrap equipment, electronic scales, • Company trucks or vans for customer deliveriesRequirements: Education & Experience: • High School Diploma or GED (required), • Minimum 1 year of warehouse or automotive shop experience (preferred), • Strong organizational skills and pride in maintaining a clean, orderly warehouse, • Accurate and efficient inventory management abilities, • High attention to detail and thorough documentation skills, • Ability to correctly identify automotive parts, • Clear written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work collaboratively with drivers, Branch Manager, counter sales, and service teams, • Strong sense of ownership over product integrity and accuracy, • Ability to meet physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions, including:, • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling varying weights (including over 100 lbs at times), • Reaching (overhead, outward, over shoulder), • Standing, walking (normal, uneven, slippery surfaces), bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, crawling, • Fine motor skills (fingering, grasping, handling), • Operating forklifts and vehicles (automatic and standard transmission), • Keyboard and ten-key use, • Employee must acknowledge understanding of duties, responsibilities, and physical requirements, • Role responsibilities may expand as business needs require, • Work environment and physical requirements reflect typical warehouse conditions, • Reasonable accommodations may be provided in accordance with applicable laws
