Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Teacher to provide pediatric speech and language services for Early Intervention (birth–3) and school-age students across home, school, and community settings on Long Island. The Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech Teacher will evaluate and treat children with speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding or oral-motor needs as appropriate. This role focuses on functional, developmentally appropriate interventions that support communication across daily routines and academic environments. The Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech Teacher will work collaboratively with families, educators, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective and consistent service delivery. Responsibilities include: * Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for EI and school-age students * Provide direct speech and language therapy services in home-based EI and school-based or community settings * Address articulation, expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, fluency, voice, and functional communication skills * Implement evidence-based, developmentally appropriate treatment approaches * Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support skill carryover * Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes, and progress reports * Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate * Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State and ASHA guidelines Requirements Qualifications * Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification required * Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders * Pediatric experience preferred; EI and/or school-based experience a plus but not required * Ability to pass required background checks and clearances * Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills * Ability to work independently across multiple settings while collaborating with a team * Professional, reliable, flexible, and child-focused BenefitsBenefits * Flexible schedule * Ongoing clinical support * Opportunities for advancement * Paid sick time Pay: $60–$75 per hour (based on experience, setting, and certifications) Job Type: Part-time Work Location: In person
