    Overnight Front Desk Receptionist — Hotel CityNest New York | 125 Bowery, New York, NY Night Shift: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM Weekend availability is required CityNest New York is looking for a friendly, responsible, and highly communicative Overnight Front Desk Receptionist to join our hospitality team. This is a guest-facing position. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable actively communicating with guests throughout your shift. Hospitality is about people, and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, solving problems, and creating a welcoming experience. Because this is an overnight position, we need someone who is dependable, independent, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility when management may not be physically present. Responsibilities • Welcome guests and create a warm, professional first impression, • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, • Communicate with guests in person, by phone, email, and messaging platforms, • Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest information, • Complete daily reports and documentation through our hotel management system, • Use Excel for tracking, reporting, and internal records, • Coordinate with housekeeping and management, • Respond to guest requests and resolve minor issues professionally, • Monitor the property during the overnight shift and report any incidents or maintenance concerns, • Perform room inspections and cleanliness checks when required, • Help ensure common areas remain clean, organized, and guest-ready, • In urgent situations, assist with preparing or cleaning a room when necessary — hospitality is a team effort, • Follow hotel procedures for guest safety, security, deposits, and property issues, • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their shift, notices problems before they become bigger issues, and is comfortable making responsible decisions.     About the Role We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Assistant / Office Manager / Event Coordinator to support our leadership team and keep our NYC office running smoothly. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. You’ll manage executive scheduling and logistics, oversee the day-to-day office experience, and help plan and execute company events, team gatherings, and external activations. Qualifications • 1–3 years of working experience, and experience in executive assistance, office management, events, hospitality, operations, or a similar role preferred., • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills., • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously., • Comfortable operating independently with limited oversight., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information., • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented when plans change., • Comfortable working directly with executives and senior external partners., • Experience managing vendors, travel, events, or office operations strongly preferred., • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, calendar management, spreadsheets, and other common workplace tools., • Familiarity with New York City venues, restaurants, vendors, and logistics is a plus., • Hospitality mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
