HSS is currently seeking a Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support our downtown, Seattle, WA team. Job purpose Responsibility and accountability for onsite Housekeeping operations. Consistently meet quality and timeliness standards along with budget objectives. In addition, maintaining a professional and effective relationship with property management. An Assistant Executive Housekeeper must ensure company mission statement and values are followed, with the best interests of the company, its employees and customers as his / her motivator. Duties and responsibilities QUALITY • Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence at the site, • Establish and monitor site goals, • Ensure site contractual obligations, company policies, standards and procedures are followed, • Inspect units and complete the required amount of report cards per week, • Be knowledgeable of carpet cleaning procedures / equipment of each site, • Monitor and strive to improve site quality scores and report monthly scores (RCI, II, Internal) to management, • Training and developing of staff, both existing and new recruits, • Assign tasks to staff and inspects completed work for conformance to standards, • Monitor progress of MIT candidates, • Recruit, hire and train qualified employees, • Ensure a safe working environment at site and office TIMELINESS • Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service, • Train all employees to monitor daily progress and complete tasks on time, • Willing and able to perform any and all duties related to site operation, • Ensure a sense of urgency exists at each site so that units are turned on time, • Ensure all weekly reports are completed in a timely manner, • Arrive promptly for work and for all appointments and meetings BUDGET • Assist and give feedback of site budgets as necessary, • Recommend salary adjustments for staff as per company guidelines, • Maintain adequate inventory and equipment supplies CUSTOMER SERVICE • Build professional relationship with resort management and other key members of the resort staff, • Be approachable and always follow up, • Create strong, positive customer relations, • Troubleshoot and problem solve to meet customers needs, • Investigate and resolve issues related to personnel, • Be knowledgeable of the complete resort, • Solve guest complaints promptly Qualifications • A passion for cleanliness, • Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills, • Demonstrate our core values of loyalty, honesty and integrity, • Pro-active, self managing, • Excellent problem solving skills, • Strong communication skills, • Ability to work under stressful conditions, • Work irregular hours and travel Working conditions Work is performed in an hotel setting Physical/Visual requirements • Frequent mobility, standing, walking, stair climbing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, • Requires corrective vision and hearing to normal range, • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping and reaching, • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs., • Manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other office, • equipment Eligibility Requirements • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction., • Must be 18 years of age or older Benefits: Hospitality Staffing Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, • Short-Term Disability coverage, • Supplemental Life Insurance, • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA), • Company-paid Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance, • 401(k) plan with company match, • Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days during your first year of employment, • 7 paid holidays Compensation The pay range for this position is $70-77,000. This range represents the minimum and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.
